Yolŋu power: the art of Yirrkala

 Yolŋu power: the art of Yirrkala, is a new major exhibition opening on the 21st June at the Art Gallery of NSW. The exhibition features 95 artists from Yirrkala in Arnhem Land. Yolŋu power traces the history of of artistic practice from Yirrkala through 300 works from the 1940s to the modern day through generational and cultural continuation.

I was joined this morning by Cara Pinchbeck curator of Yolŋu power: the art of Yirrkala, and Head of First Nations at the Art Gallery of NSW.
