Your Christmas food coma, explained

As we approach Christmas season for a year that has been far from simple, we look forward to seeing our families, spreading joy, and Christmas feast after Christmas feast. As we find ourselves getting carried away with the scrumptious meals in front of us, even the best of us fall into what is known as a ‘food coma’.

Monday Drive chatted to Dr Emma Beckett, nutrition scientist at the University of Newcastle, and she broke down for us what exactly it means to fall into a food coma.
