Youth gambling a real problem

Nowadays you can’t watch a sporting event without the bombardment of betting ads that fill our television screens. Australia spends over $18 billion a year on gambling and the average Australian loses around $1500 every 12 months.

How can we expect kids to turn away from gambling if it’s constantly in their face?

Psychologist Dr Cameron McIntosh from St Vincent’s Hospital joins us to tell us more about Australia’s gambling problem.
