YouTube Fined Over Privacy Of Children

YouTube has been hit with a 170 US million fine after it was discovered they were tracking the viewing habits of their child users to be able to better advertise to them as well as marketing their site to advertisers with the express interest at targeting children. While this is a clear sign that the american government is trying to take action against this type of unregulated behaviour, many have argued that this is little more than a slap on the wrist.
