Controversial American whistleblower, Chelsea Manning just yesterday had her criminal conviction for espionage and theft commuted from a 35 year sentence to nearly seven years and is poised to be released from prison in May this year by outgoing President Barack Obama.
Adrian spoke to freelance ABC journalist and a former tutor of US Politics at the United States Studies Centre, Lucia Osborne-Crowley for insight and analysis of this unique legal move by the President.
