Not next door strangers anymore
Do you know your next door neighbour’s name?
Well, as per the Australia Talks National Survey 2021, roughly one in three Australians do not know their neighbours by name. It is important to build neighbourly values and build a safe, inclusive community around us . The pandemic has been the time where we have needed our community the most and some have shown up. We were joined by one such couple Tegan smith and Cluan Smith, who took the initiative to check up on the people in their neighbourhood. They shared with us how being able to ask for help for some power tools or a forgotten dinner ingredient has make their lockdown a lot easier!
