Dictionary of Sydney – Rodd Island Laboratory
In the spirit of National Science Week, Nicole Cama from Dictionary of Sydney spoke to Tess about the lesser-known history of Rodd Island, the westernmost island in Sydney Harbour’s Iron Cove. Initially Wangal land, the island had numerous claimants throughout the 19th century, eventually, becoming the site of an experimental laboratory in 1888.
