A good idiom can be a piece of cake
Olivia Rosenman and Helen Rydstrand are The Expressionists, a podcast all about idioms and how they connect us to the past and each other. With the race that stops the nation – the Melbourne Cup – coming up, they shared some of their favourite horse racing idioms with Nic, such as “across the board”, “win hands down” and “back the wrong horse”.
To kill two birds with one stone, they also talked about their upcoming launch party for the podcast’s second season on November 2nd at the Duck Inn Pub & Kitchen in Chippendale.
