Shack Life: Living at the Royal National Park

The communities of small beachside shacks in New South Wales’ Royal National Park date back to the Great Depression, when they were built by starving mining families. south of Sydney. Hundreds were built, and only a few stand today, but they continue to be lived in and enjoyed.

Author Ingeborg van Teeseling joined Jess to talk about her book Shack Life, detailing the history of three of these beautiful buildings, and the families who own them!
