What’s Next for Waterloo’s Public housing?

A couple of weeks ago on 2SER breakfast we talked about the, We Live Here art installation at Waterloo’s Matavi and Turanga Towers. The changing coloured lights placed on the windowsills of participating residents were a demonstration of solidarity towards the socio-political commitment of housing the vulnerable and tried to change perceptions of the buildings and the residents themselves. Now that the lights are off and towers face imminent demolition, we are intrigued to know what has the project done for the residents and what is next them. Catherine Skipper, Matavai Tower resident joined us on air.
