We also saw the final on Sunday night, with Spain defeating England 1-0. With the success of the FIFA World Cup and the Netball World Cup, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced a 200 million dollar boost into funding women’s sports in Australia. This is a huge stepping stone for the future of sports in Australia.
