What kinds of videos usually go viral? Cute cats, epic fails, trick shots, flash mobs? You wouldn’t think that a YouTube channel made up solely of Maths lessons would be able to garner more than 7 million views and 100, 000 subscribers., would you?
Well Eddie Woo would prove you wrong, with his YouTube channel WooTube, inspiring young maths students all over the internet. On Monday night he was named Local NSW Hero of 2018 at the NSW Australian of the Year awards. We were lucky enough to have a chat with him, about the importance of mathematics, and what education means to him!
