The first thing that might come to your mind when thinking about an international film festival is the glitz, glamour and prestige of global cinema. But this year, as part of the 2021 Sydney Film Festival, a local showcase from the University of Technology Sydney will present a retrospective; screening outstanding works produced by students and alumni from the past ten years.

Breakfast’s Willy Russo spoke with Professor Ian Thomson, Head of the UTS Animal Logic Academy about this exciting upcoming event.

The 2021 UTS Film Retrospective will be screened on the 9th and 10th of November at 6-8pm.
