Late summer in the city can mean only one thing – Mardi Gras is back!

The iconic Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival is set to start on 14 February 2025, culminating in the world famous Mardi Gras Parade on 1 March, featuring 17 days of unforgettable moments, international performers, parties, theatre, community events and more.

The 2025 Festival theme is Free To Be, a celebration of the strides toward true LGBTQIA+ equality while also acting as a global reminder that the fight is far from over, until we’re all free to be.
