Sydney Fringe Presents: 27 Club

A rock revelation, a masterclass in the power of music to transcend, to transform, and to immortalise — Sydney Fringe Festival 2024 will be porting over an Adelaide Fringe favourite for the first time. From 30 Aug-29 Sep, 27 Club will be rocking the night away at the Spiegeltent Festival Garden at Entertainment Quarter with a high-octane music extravaganza that’ll leave you praying to the rock-and-roll gods for more. Australian powerhouses like Sarah McLeod, Kevin Mitchell, Carla Lippis, and many more will be channelling the late greats gone too soon — from the likes of Joplin to Winehouse, Cobain to Hendrix, Jones to Morrison — and paying tribute to them in a visceral musical show hat’s been described as a “must-see”. Dusty Lee Stephensen, Musical Director of 27 Club and frontman of Wanderers (who’ll also be performing) was on Tuesday Drive with Jono to give the lowdown on the showdown for expecting the unexpected.

Attendees are advised there will be strobe lighting, haze, coarse language, and discussion of suicide. Tickets in their various pricing tiers are available here.
