Since 1998, Tanya Plibersek has been a member of parliament with an impressive ministerial resume including Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy Leader of the Opposition, Minister for Health, Minister for Medical Research, Minister for Social Inclusion, and Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Development just to name a few! She is currently the Shadow Minister for Education and Training.

She was a volunteer at 2SER whilst she was undergoing her Bachelor of Communication at UTS and joined Alex James to chat about her experience at the station; the inspiring volunteers, the dreaded UTS Tower building where the 2SER studio used to be and the range of avant-garde programs.
