CINTA

CINTA is a powerhouse of modern soul, channelling raw emotion through her music. A diva, schooled in the blues, she leads her band with an intensity and authenticity that have become staples in Sydney’s music scene.
CINTA’s voice is the centrepiece—sultry, commanding, and evocative. Her music isn’t just about the rhythm and melody; it’s a journey into the human experience. Inspired by the writings of Lauryn, Aretha, Erykah and Sade to name a few, she seamlessly merges the old-school vibe of soul legends with a fresh, modern edge, creating a sound that is both nostalgic and groundbreaking. Whether in intimate venues or at major festivals, her presence on stage is undeniable, the band create a rich, sonic tapestry that allows CINTA’s storytelling to shine.

At the core of CINTA’s music is a commitment to authenticity. She writes with vulnerability, drawing from personal experiences and the complex emotions that accompany relationships. Her band provides the foundation for her stories, pushing and pulling her vocals to convey the depth of her narratives.

THE AERIAL MAPS

The Aerial Maps are a Sydney-based band formed in 2007, known for their unique fusion of Adam Gibson’s spoken-word storytelling and the band’s atmospheric folk/rock. Their music paints vivid sonic landscapes, drawing inspiration from Australia’s vast terrain and urban life. Their debut album, In the Blinding Sunlight (2008), and follow-up The Sunset Park (2011) established them as a distinct force in Australian music, with their evocative narratives resonating deeply with audiences.

After a hiatus following the passing of co-founding member Simon Holmes in 2017, the band reformed with a refreshed lineup, featuring members from The Hummingbirds and Crow. Their powerful and affecting live shows—equal parts musical performance and poetic storytelling—have become a hallmark of their artistry, immersing audiences in a deeply emotional and cinematic experience.

With the release of albums Intimate Hinterland (2021) and Our Sunburnt Dream (2024), The Aerial Maps continue to explore themes of memory, place, and the Australian experience, reinforcing their reputation as a band that doesn’t just play songs, but transports listeners into vividly realised worlds.

LIBRARY SIESTA

Library Siesta write songs for heavy hearts that keep you on your toes. Inside melodic hooks and atop bright, scuzzy guitars are a collection of stories that shine a light on some of the darker sides of humanity. The band also recorded a Live @ 2SER at our Broadway studios which showcases their laid back vibe and dream pop sound with tracks like ‘Winnie Blues 1’ and ‘Je Suis Louise’ being added to their Live @ 2SER set. Once a 2SER feature album with ‘What You’re Worth’, now on the In Your Hood line up, the band are set to get everyone that comes ebbing and flowing along.

GAILLA

Gailla creates golden, driving folk-pop songs that delve into stories of climate optimism, community and cycles. With her band, she has toured across the country, playing venues, folk festivals, house concerts and more. In 2023, she embarked on her Public Transport Tour, committing to only touring via public transport. This in turn saw her become an ambassador for Green Music Australia and attend their Artist Leadership Retreat in 2024. 2024 also saw the release of her debut EP ‘Over The Earth, Under’, a 6-track body of work inspired by Deep Ecology.
