We are discussing growth outlooks today – and specifically whether the Reserve Bank is unfounded. Recently, we saw the RBA hold onto interest rates for a 15th month in a row. Its minutes and its tone on monetary policy have remained the same for much of that time – especially concerning its worries on inflation outlook. So how can you, the everyday consumer, debunk what the RBA’s minutes actually say? And is the RBA’s optimism about our economy actually unfounded?
