39,000 Indigenous Australian Objects Found in UK Museums

39,000 Indigenous artefacts have been recovered and displayed in museums across the UK in an effort to repair damaged relations. A similar program has begun in Australia with the federal Government creating the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Islander Studies to ensure Indigenous culture gets it’s fair share of worthy care and attention in museums across the world.
