Five years ago on Monday, the Arab Spring uprising took place in Egypt. This was an incredibly dramatic event, and lead to the eventual toppling of then-president, Hosni Mubarak. But what impact did this uprising have, and how is the country faring today? Dr Noah Bassil the Director of the Macquarie University Centre for Middle East & North African Studies spoke to The Daily to break the anniversary down.
