60 Minutes in Lebanon – What went wrong?
You’ve likely heard by now, a 60 minutes crew have found themselves in some hot water over a botched ‘child recovery’ effort in Lebanon.
Brisbane mother Sally Faulkner, two members of a UK-based child recovery agency, reporter Tara Brown and producer Stephen Rice as well as their cameraman and sound recordist are awaiting trial and facing up to twenty years on kidnapping charges.
What went so wrong?
We had a talk to Denis Muller, Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Advancing Journalism from University of Melbourne to find out what went wrong.
