65th Sydney Film Festival Warming Our Souls

Just as winter comes in June, there is always the consolation of the Sydney Film Festival now in its 65th year, to warm one’s soul up by offering a menu of 120 feature films and 57 documentaries from around the world.
This year is no exception with everything from Kenya’s first film to reach Cannes, a documentary on Afghanistan’s first metal band, experimental films from Philippines and Indonesia, all in all a cornucopia of films for everyone’s tastes.
Mick talked to Sydney Film Festival director Nashen Moodley about this year’s line-up of films.
