Is Sydney’s Skyline Set to Shoot Up?

Building regulations play an important role in shaping the way our cities grow. Tall buildings are often a symbol of power and prestige. But are they always the best way forward? The City of Sydney has recently endorsed planning changes which would allow our skyline to rise by about 100 metres. The Daily’s Willy Russo spoke with Professor Peter Phibbs – Director of the Henry Halloran Trust for research and innovation in urban development at the University of Sydney – about what the change might mean for the city.
