COVID-19 and the BioSecurity Act
On the 21st of January 2020, the Australian government added COVID-19 as a Listed Human Disease on the BioSecurity Act.
This means the government has special powers to control Australian citizens. Breakfast host Alex James spoke to Pauline Wright, Law Council of Australia President, about the BioSecurity control orders and how they could be used if the COVID-19 spreads further in Australia.
