Share The Dignity March Campaign
Across Australia and globally, many women are currently going without basic sanitary products like tampons and pads. With many Australians living below the poverty line, the cost of buying sanitary products is too expensive and inaccessible, resulting in many women going without.
Twice a year, Australian charity group Share the Dignity collects donations of sanitary items to distribute to women and girls across the country. As NSW women’s week begins so does the March drive with collection boxes set up across the country.
Katie Norbury, Marketing and Communications Manager at Share the Dignity Australia, told The Daily more about the work of Share the Dignity and their March drive.
