March the 8th is International Women’s Day, a time to celebrate achievements and reflect on the challenges still facing women. One of the biggest issues facing women in Australia is the push for parity, with the gender pay gap at 17.3 per cent. A recent report by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency in collaboration with the Bankwest Curtin Economics Centre, has found that the pay gap in the finance sector is at 30 per cent, and men can earn up to a hundred thousand dollars a year more than women.
