Most Inner West citizens are familiar with the Addison Road Community Organisation, due to its colourful multicultural events, Sunday Markets and as a host for a vast array of community groups providing critical services. Over the last couple of years, The Addy Rd Centre has become an important community beacon for its advocacy role, as a facilitator for social inclusion, justice and sustainability. Jess spoke with Addy Rd CEO Rosanna Barbero about the evolving role of the organisation within Sydney’s Inner West and the up-coming Inner West March & Festival for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
