Watch Out For Tonight’s Super Moon

Telescopes at the ready! You probably already know that the moon cycles through different phrases throughout the month. What you might not know is tonight on Wednesday 8th April marks a special phase called a “supermoon”, with tonight’s supermoon known by names such as pink moon, grass moon and fish moon. On top of this, the next few days will be marked by a cosmic ladder of the planets, Jupiter, Saturn, Mars and Mercury. 

We were joined by Dr Martin Bell, an Astrophysicist from the University of Technology Sydney to explain the significance of all these amazing astrological events.
