The Diary Files

How will we look back on these isolated and locked down COVID times? Will it be a blur of streaming endless TV series? A fog of video calls into colleagues living rooms? In early May 2020 the State Library launched The Diary Files. A public platform anyone can contribute a diary entry of as little as 20 words up to 300 words. Vignettes about the everyday life of everyday people and how we are coping in these COVID times.

Richard Neville, the State Library’s Mitchell Librarian joined us to talk about the project.
