Sea Shepherd’s Jeff Hansen talks Ocean Debris & Plastic Pollution
Our next guest is a bit of a hero amongst heroes.
A hero that is to the hundreds of thousands of marine mammals, whales, dolphins, sharks, turtles and fish that owe their lives to the great people at Sea Shepherd Australia.
Jeff Hansen joined Sea Shepherd as a volunteer in 2007, and now as Managing Director leads the Australian operations. He also sits on Sea Shepherd’s global board.
With ocean pollution almost constantly in the news, and some recent reports highlighting disturbing issues to do with plastic recycling, we thought it timely to get an expert’s eye view on what is going on with marine pollution in our oceans.
Jeff, welcome again to The Thursday Daily…
