The first half of the show delves into headnod, deep, mostly instrumental hip hop. Things get a bit moodier in the second half, with some post grime gear from Rabit and Silk Road Assassins, two works from Leyland Kirby, some recent gems from the Ghostbox label. Two artists played (Klara Lewis and Sarah Davichi) are part the annual Room40 curated nights coming up at Carriageworks called “Open Frame” on June 29 + 30. More info and tickets here.
