Turnbull government backs Type 1 Diabetes research
Have you ever experienced fatigue, weight loss, blurred vision? These are just some of the symptoms of Type 1 Diabetes and almost half a million Aussies are living with it undiagnosed. The Turnbull government hopes to break ground in research for this common condition with almost $4 million dollars being used to back the expansion of a diabetes database.
Dr Dorota Pawlak, the Head of Research Development at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation joined us to tell us more.
