On Curved Radio #366 this weekend (Sunday 6th Dec), mr.K takes the wheel of the Good Ship Curve until Gayle Austin returns back on air next weekend! He’ll be sharing a feature/conversation he had a couple of weeks ago with Australian author, Mark Mordue, who has just written a new biography on Nick Cave entitled, ‘Boy on Fire – The Young Nick Cave’ which is published through HarperCollins Books Australia. Mark reveals some fascinating insights about the formative years of Nick Cave and his social scene pre-1980 as well as the processes he went through as a writer in developing this biography. Expect to hear some tracks from Cave’s early bands, The Boys Next Door and The Birthday Party as well as collaborators, Rowland S. Howard and Anita Lane in the mix!
mr.K also spins a bunch of brand new/recent independent releases that have come our way while we’ve been taking a break from new shows over the past month and throws in a few curve balls too!
