It goes without saying that we all tend to get carried away when it comes to indulging. A good sale is often too appealing to turn down, but where do we draw the line? How can we know that a sale, especially on a day such as Boxing Day, is really worth our time and energy?

Monday Drive spoke to Dr Paul Harrison, senior lecturer at Deakin Business School. He came on the show to tell us all about how the feeling of FOMO is a direct correlation with our inability to turn down a good Boxing Day sale.
