The Monday Daily Gig Guide

For another instalment of the Monday Daily’s local gig guide, Oscar and Jarred gave a re cap of some of the shows they caught on the weekend and discussed some of the must see gigs coming up this week:

Friday 5/03 – Noodle House at Yullis Brewery

First up this week we have Sydney band Noodle house playing at Yullis Brewery in Surry Hills, as part of third eye stimulus take over of the venue for the whole of March as part of their ‘noisy brew’ take over. Tickets are free and can be booked by emailing brewery@yullis.com.au

Saturday 6/03 – Dress Theque (Mad rat records launch) (Play clean underneath interview)

Next up this week we have Madchester inspired Sydney band, Dress Theque playing at the Launch of Mad Rat Records at the classic Factory theatre. Oscar was lucky enough to catch up with his friend, Johnny the bass player of Dress Theque, who shared why you should head along to their show on Friday.

Transparency

Now a lot of the shows we talk about on this segment are usually over 18, and Oscar and Jarred know more than anyone else what its like being gig hungry as a under ager, as such Oscar will be doing my best to include one all ages show a week. This week we have Sydney indie rockers, Transparency playing their first show in over a year at the Paddo RSL, along with 12 other fantastic young bands. Transparency are a great up and coming Sydney band, their single ‘Runaway’ is a single Oscar has listened to on Spotify over 100 times, definitely check ’em out.
