New treatment for the most common form of multiple sclerosis now available
For those who don’t know, Multiple Sclerosis (or more commonly known as MS) is, very simply, a disease in which the immune system eats away at the protective covering of nerves. It is a chronic illness and unfortunately does not have a cure.
However, Australians suffering from the most common form of MS can see some relief, as they now gain access to a new form of treatment. We were joined by Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine Todd Hardy, from the Concord Clinical School to talk about this new treatment.
