Sandwich Story: The Vietnamese Banh Mi Appreciation Society
The Banh Mi (or Vietnamese Roll) is so much more than a cheap lunch while you’re waiting for a train or in between meetings; the sandwich is an institution, and especially so here in Australia. A member and admin named Drambo Frizell who helps run a Facebook group named ‘The Vietnamese Banh Mi Appreciation Society’ – which celebrates this epic contribution to Australia’s national palate – joined Danny live in the studio.
