Recovering From The Sir Ivan Bushfire
The Sir Ivan Bushfire that wreaked havoc through parts of NSW was declared a natural disaster in February but it was over a month before fire authorities could finally declare it as extinguished. BlazeAid is a volunteer based organisation that aids in recovery from natural disasters like fires and floods. They are working with farmers and land holders to rebuild. Breakfast producer Lily Cardis spoke to both victims and volunteer BlazeAiders aiding in the recovery after the Sir Ivan Bushfire.
