MAVIS
The MAVIS telescope is the latest telescope project currently under development. An Australian lead, international collaboration is utilising cutting edge technology which will allow MAVIS to push the boundaries of ground-based instrumentation. 2SER Producer Cameron Furlong spoke with the project’s lead scientist Macquarie University’s Associate Professor Richard McDermid about MAVIS, its capabilities, and how it will fit in with existing telescopes.
