Retail Workers Left Anxious During COVID-19

It has been almost two weeks since Greater Sydney was placed in a temporary lockdown meant to end this Friday, but its looking like it will be extended for another week as NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian signals a tougher approach to restrictions, warning life won’t return to the way it was pre-lockdown due to the infectious nature of the delta variant of COVID-19.

Retail workers among others are left facing not only uncertainty but the anxiety and worry that grows as work is being cut down with some not eligible for the crisis payment offered by the government.

Tina Quinn spoke with retail worker, Lars Davis on The Daily.
