Torres Strait Islanders in danger of health impacts from climate change

A new research from the University of Queensland found out the Torres Strait Islands, up in North Queensland, could suffer negative health impacts because of climate change.

The IPCC report has opened a conversation about how swift we need to act on climate change. However, Torres Strait Islanders have been urging the State and Federal government to do more about the issue, since their communities are being impacted.
