Nationals Prove To Be Sticking Point For Net Zero By 2050

As international pressure increases, Prime Minister Scott Morrison has said he is building a plan to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 but is facing significant push back from his colleagues in the National’s party.

As the annual United Nations Climate Change Conference draws closer, Australia remains reticent to commit to a target of net zero greenhouse gas emissions by the year 2050.
