Here’s how to support people living with dementia to ease out of lockdown.

Lockdown has proven itself to be difficult for most people and with normality slowly returning as restrictions ease in NSW, it is important to also consider vulnerable members of our community. Easing back into a regular routine may be confusing or difficult for those who are currently living with dementia, and present unexpected challenges to those who caretake for people with dementia. Professor in Ageing and Health, Lee-Fay from the University of Sydney joined 2SER to discuss her article on how to support people with dementia after lockdown as well as answer common questions that may shed some light to those currently struggling with this.
