Proposed voter ID laws are a solution looking for a problem

New legislation proposed by the Morrison Government could see voters being required to show identification at the next federal election.
With cases of voter fraud being limited in Australia, many believe the change is unnecessary. Experts say the proposed changes could discourage those from vulnerable backgrounds, who may not have identification readily available, from voting.
