While the impact of climate change is well known, not enough research has focused on how cultural sites have been affected. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) 6th Assessment Report provides a more in-depth focus on regional climate change. The report also provides a framework to address the physical changes in climate, which includes coastal flooding, cyclones and draught.

Flinders University conducted a seminar this week to hear what international archaeologists, historians and cultural heritage practitioners thought about the IPCC report.
