International Day of People with Disability
Every year on the 3rd of December across the globe, we recognise and celebrate International Day of People with Disabilities. IDPwD is a United Nations observed day celebrated internationally that aims to increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disabilities and celebrate their achievements and contributions.
This day is an opportunity for us to make positive changes to the lives of the 4.4 million Australians living with a disability. Mette Stanbury, the Area manager at LiveBig joins us to discuss how important it is as a society to be aware of Australians living with disabilities.
