Album: Ants from Up There Black Country, New Road
Ants from Up There is the latest release from British Indie Band Black Country, New Road. This album is full of simultaneously discordant and melodious instrumentals, and epically expanding songs and is an instant Top Ten pick for Wayne, even this early in the year. Ants from Up There is available on Spotify.
Film: Belfast
A semi-autobiographical film written and directed by Kenneth Branagh set amidst The Troubles in Northern Ireland. The film focuses on a protestant working class family and they young son’s childhood in Belfast during the tumultuous 1960’s. Shot in black and white, this is a beautifully shot film that takes a personal approach to this period of Irish History. Belfast is available in cinemas.

The eleventh studio album Time Skiffs from Baltimore experimental pop band Animal Collective. This album is a true return to form for the band, full of interesting sounds and beautiful full harmonies. Time Skiffs is available on Spotify.
