The Band Next Door :: 10:00pm 3rd Mar 2022

I don’t think it would go without saying that a lot has potentially changed for Lismore hardcore punk outfit Masochist since I spoke to them just over a week ago.
A few days before the town was gripped in catastrophic floods, I spoke to vocalist Rose and guitarist James about their debut full length record BLOOM – out now on Reason and Rage Records.
The pair gave some insight to the musical flavours of the Northern Rivers, their time as a band and their mentality on approaching their LP.
Also coming your way tonight on The Band Next Door on 2SER.
A myriad of electronica from Sydney Miller.
Indie guitar popsters Blanco Tranco
Gothic darkwave of Life Cult.
Dreamy Western janglers Trash Vultures.
Alt rockers LATE 90s
Crusty riff cult Protospasm.
Post-core emo punx Travels.
Plus some of the latest sounds from Sydney locals Johnny Hunter, Hard-Ons – Official and bonetwister.
All that and more with two hours of Alternative Australiana.
From 10pm
Only on 2SER.
(If anyone knows any decent crowd-funding campaigns for the Northern Rivers that are not run by Peter Dutton, please let me know)
