Did you know your mobile phone has a fair bit in common with a hearing aid? 

Nicole Matthews is an Associate Professor in Media and Cultural Studies at Macquarie University and she has been researching hearing loss and the kind of ideas we have about deafness and disability. 

Nicole spoke to Helen Wolfenden from Macquarie University and explained the connection between mobile phones and hearing aids.
