Fergus James. The Star In His Own Film.
The path that Fergus James has taken into the music industry could be something you’d find in a movie script. After being accepted into the famous Newtown High School of Performing arts, the teenager would find himself performing in front of Justin Timberlake which was filmed and went on to go viral and seen around the world.
His first single ‘Golden Age’, released in 2018, racked up over 7.5 Million plays on Spotify, he has played at Splendour in the Grass and he has supported Ed Sheeran on some of his shows on the biggest stadium tour in Australian history.
With a few more years of experience under his belt, Fergus James is looking to further establish his guitar-based pop credentials with his second EP, A Slow Separation, release last Friday via the 100s and 1000s label.
He joined The Tuckshop for a light-hearted chat about what’s next in his highlight reel.
